The WORLD MOVIES Channel is owned and produced by PAN TV Ltd which is operated through SBS’s wholly owned subsidiary, Multilingual Subscriber Television. PAN TV Ltd also produces Australia’s newest dedicated art channel STVDIO. The WORLD MOVIES Channel began broadcasting in October 1995 coinciding with the launch of subscription TV in Australia.

PAN TV Limited also manages a number of contract partnerships that assist in the delivery of key operations which include programming, marketing, broadcast transmission services, television production and general administration.
