Synopsis


An aspiring pianist suffers at the hands of her seductive, psychotic roommate as her obsession begins to drain her energy and spirit.

When Marie leaves her family to live in Lyon to study piano at the music conservatory, she moves in with Emma, who has been living alone since her father died and mother left.
Marie initially abides by the strict rules laid down by her flat mate who fascinates, dominates and overwhelms her. Marie is torn between her desire for Emma and her need to escape from her, until suddenly, Emma monopolises all Marie’s attention to the point of suffocating her as she allows herself to be taken in and lose her way to the point of no longer pursuing her life long dreams.
