From acclaimed Brazilian director Breno Silveria comes Once Upon A Time In Rio, an epic tale about two star crossed lovers living on opposite ends of Rio de Janiero’s two-tiered society.

Cantalago resident De works as a hot dog vendor at one of the stalls in Ipanema. When he meets Nina, the only child of a wealthy lawyer, they fall in love. As their romance intensifies, they realise that society is dead set against them every achieving any measure of true happiness together.
When De’s reckless older brother Carlos kidnaps Nina to exploit her rich father, De is caught between his love for Nina and the fraternal bonds he shares with Carlos. His attempt to rescue Nina goes awry when he is pinned as the culprit for the kidnapping by Nina’s distraught father.
