Touted as an Israeli Billy Elliot, director Eitan Anner follows the heroic sage of an impressionable young boy who goes to ballroom dancing lessons in order to impress the girl of his dreams.

Attuned to his beautiful Russian mother’s love of dancing, Chen finds himself at odds with his Israeli photographer father’s gruff impatience with all things manly and impractical. When Chen meets Natalie, a mysterious young Russian dancer he falls immediately in love. Soon he abandons his judo school for a classroom of ballroom dancers preparing for a major competition. Practicing daily to keep up with the others, Chen never relentlessly pursues the dance form in what he sees as the only measure to be with Natalie and prove himself worthy of her esteem…
