Synopsis

Visually stylish and intelligent, Optical Illusions is a multi-character drama that observes and commentates on the importance of aesthetic appearances in today’s deluded society.

A blind man recovers his eyesight after an operation with Chilean medical company Vidausr, but it backfires when his blind partner and friend reject him. A young secretary for Vidasur believes she is unattractive and decides to take up the offer of a half price breast enhancement on offer from her employer while her brother secures a security job at a shopping centre and spends his days watching the shoppers through the cameras. When he catches a well-dressed woman shoplifting, they begin an illicit affair with disastrous results…
