Synopsis

“A feel good crowd pleaser”
- Eddie Cockrell VARIETY

A sad Israeli flight attendant’s life is turned upside down when her sister’s maid is deported back to China and inadvertently leaves behind her six year old son. Nominated for ten awards at the Israeli Film Academy Awards including Best Supporting Actress, Noodle is a heart-warming story that examines how the universal good shown by strangers transcends language or culture.

Twice war-widowed, Miri’s life has been punctuated by loss and as a consequence blocks all possibilities for happiness. Although she doesn’t have any maternal instincts, Miri quickly develops an attachment to the little boy who she nicknames Noodle. Not wanting to turn him over to the authorities, she tries to locate Noodle’s mum in Beijing and comes up with a daring plan that turns into an edgy and thrilling execution.
