As a well-regarded lawyer, Youngjak (Hwang Jungmin) is completely professional, but beneath the veneer of respectability, his personal life is in tatters. He spends any spare time he has careening after his young mistress, while his wife, Hojung (Moon So-ri), a former dancer, has accepted her husband’s philandering and mostly takes care of her precocious 7 year-old adopted son, before warming to the advances of an immature teenage neighbour. Their dysfunctional story takes a more serious turn when, after a drunken evening with his girlfriend, Younjak runs over a man and nearly kills him. Younjak’s self-serving carelessness sets off a chain of events which ultimately ends in tragedy…
